ஸ்ரீ காஞ்சீ காமகோடி பீடத்தின் 68-வது ஆசார்யஸ்வாமிகளாக விளங்கிய ஜகத்குரு பூஜ்யஸ்ரீ சந்த்ரசேகரேந்த்ர ஸரஸ்வதீ மஹா ஸ்வாமிகளுக்குக் கல்வி பயில்வித்தவருள் ஒருவரும். பின்னர் ஸ்ரீமடத்தின் ஆஸ்தான வித்வானாகத் திகழ்ந்தவருமான, பைங்காநாடு, ஸ்ரீ பஞ்சாபகேச சாஸ்திரிகளினால் 1932-இல் ஸ்ரீ மஹாஸ்வாமிகளைத் துதித்து எழுதப்பட்ட பாமாலை
This stuti on Mahaswamigal was written in 1932 by Shri Painganadu Panchapagesa Sastrigal, who was one of the teachers and was also the Asthana vidvan of Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Mulamnaya Sarvajna Pitham on the 68th Acharya Shri Chandrashekharendra Sarasvati Shankaracharya Swamigal.
सर्वाभीष्टानि कुर्वन् स्मयगित भुवने सञ्चरन्नगमोरफं धर्मं सर्वं च शर्मप्रदमखिलनृणां दर्शयन्नादरेण । मोचा-माधुर्य-लज्जा-कर-वर-वचसा बोधयन् तत्वमर्थं चित्रं जेजीयते श्री-भुवन-गुरु-महा-कल्प-वृक्षोऽसहंशः ॥१॥
भोग्यं लोकौघजन्मान्तर-कृत-सुकृत-व्रातजातं वरिष्ठं भाग्यं शास्त्रीय-धर्म-व्रज-भवदतुलग्लानि-शोचाद्-बुधानाम् । मृग्यं संसार-दुःखापनयन-निरतैस्सादरं सज्जनैश्च योग्यं रक्षा-विधेस्तं भुवन-गुरुमहं नौमि नित्यं शिवांशम् ॥ २ ॥
निन्दा-हीन-चरित्र-लोक-सुलभं वन्दारु-वृन्दोज्जवलं भिन्दानं स्मृत-मात्रतोऽखिल-तमोबृन्दान्यमन्दोद्यमम् । कुन्दाभासम-भूति-भूषित-तनुं स्कन्दाति-भक्ति सदाऽ स्यन्दात्मीयहृदा जगद्गुरुमहं विन्दामि योगादरम् ॥ ३ ॥
हार्द-ध्वान्त-नभोमणिं जनमनः-पेटी-विराजन्-मणिं पाप-ध्वंस-करं मणिं विबुध-सद्वंशस्य मुक्तामणिम् । योगिन्नात-शिरोमणिं निजपदं प्राप्तस्य चिन्तामणिम् लोकाचार्य-महामणिं हृदि दधे भूलोक-भूपामणिम् ॥ ४ ॥
वीक्षा-मात्र सुदूर-धावित-भवो दाक्षायणी-कामुक – त्रयक्षाराधन-तत्परो जित-समस्ताक्षावलि-श्शंकरः । द्राक्षा-शिक्षण-दश-वाक् सतत-सदक्षा-विधौ दीक्षितः रक्षां लोक-गुरुस्तनोतु सुयशः प्रतालिताशो मम ॥ ५ ॥
पञ्चापगेशनाम्ना पञ्चफमेतज्जगद्गुरोर्विषये । कृतमभिमतफलमखिलं घठयेत् पठतां हठान्द्धिलोकानाम् ॥TamilEnglish
ஸ்ரீ ஜகதாசார்ய பஞ்சகம்
- ஒப்பற்ற ஸ்ரீ ஜகத்குரு மஹாகல்ப வ்ருக்ஷம் (தேவலோகத்திய கல்பவ்ருக்ஷம் தன்னைத்தேடி வந்து வேண்டுவோர் விருப்பத்தைப் பூர்த்தி செய்வதாக இல்லாது), தானே உலகில் சஞ்சரித்துக் கொண்டு, எல்லா விருப்பங்களையும் நிறைவேற்றி, வேதத்தில் சொல்லப்படும் சுகத்தை அளிப்பதான தர்மம் அனைத்தையும் எல்லா ஜனங்களுக்கும், உபதேசித்த வண்ணம், வாழைப்பழத்தின் இனிமைக்கு வெட்கம் தரும் (வாழைப் பழத்தைக் காட்டிலும் இனிமையான) மேலான வாக்கினால் தத்வஞானத்தைப் போதித்து வெற்றிகாண்கிறது. (உலகில் பிரகாசிக்கின்றது)- ஆச்சர்யம்!
- அனைத்து மக்களும் கண்டு மகிழ்ச்சியடையத் தக்கவரும் ஜனங்கள் முன் பிறவிகளில் செய்த புண்யக் குவியலினால் ஏற்பட்டவரும், மிகவும் மேலான, சாஸ்த்ரத்தில் கூறப்பட்ட தர்மங்களுக்கெல்லாம் அளவற்ற கேடு ஏற்படுகின்றதே என வருந்தும் வித்வான்களின் பாக்யமாகத் திகழும், சாஸ்த்ர வ்ருத்தி செய்த வித்வான்களின் துயரத்தைப் போக்குகின்றது. ஸம்ஸார துக்கத்தை நீக்கிக்கொள்ள முயற்சிப்பவர்களெல்லாம் ஆதரவுடன் தேடி அடையத்தக்க, உலகினைக் காக்கத்தக்க, பரமசிவனுக்குச் சமமான அந்த ஜகத்குருவை நான் தினமும் துதிக்கின்றேன்.
- நிந்தனையற்ற நடத்தையுள்ள ஜனங்களால் எளிதில் அடையத்தக்கவரும், வணங்குபவர் கூட்டங்களால் பிரகாசிக்கும், ஸ்மரிக்கப்பட்டவுடன் (நினைத்த மாத்திரத்தில்) எல்லா பாபங்களையும், பிளந்தெறிபவரும், மந்தமற்ற (தீவிரமான) முயற்சியுடையவரும், குந்தபுஷ்பத்தின் காந்தியை ஒத்த (வெண்மையான) விபூதி பூசிய திருமேனியுடையவரும், ஸ்கந்தனிடம் (முருகனிடம்) மிகுந்த பக்தியுள்ளவரும், யோகத்தில் ஆதரவுடையவருமான ஜகத்குருவை, நான் எப்போதும் சலனமற்ற மனதினால் த்யானிக்கிறேன்.
- ஹ்ருதய இருளுக்கு நபோமணியாகவும் (அறியாமையை நீக்கும் சூர்யனாக), மக்களின் மனம் என்கிற பெட்டியில் பிராகாசிக்கும் மணியாகவும், பாவங்களை அழிக்கும் மணியும் வித்வான்களின் நல்வம்சமாகிற வம்சத்துக்கு (மூங்கிலுக்கு) முத்துமணியும் ஸத்வம்சத்தில் மணிபோல் உதித்தவரும். யோகிகளின் ஸமூஹத்திற்குச் சிரோமணியாகவும், தன்னைச் சரணடைந்தவர்களுக்குச் சிந்தாமணியாகவும், (பக்தர்களின் எண்ணங்களை நிறைவேற்றுபவராக), பூவுலகினை அலங்கரிக்கும் மணியாகவுமுள்ள உலகாசார்ய மஹாமணியை மனத்தால் ஸேவிக்கின்றேன்.
- பார்வையினாலேயே ஸம்ஸார பந்தத்தை வெகு தூரம் விரட்டிய, தாக்ஷாயணீ மணவாளனான முக்கண்ணனின் (பார்வதீ காந்தனான பரமேச்வரனின்) ஆராதனையில் ஈடுபட்டவரும், புலன்களை வென்றவரும், ஸுகமுண்டு பண்ணுபவரும், திராக்ஷையின் இனிப்பை வெல்லத்தக்க இனிய வாக்கையுடையவரும், எப்பொழுதும் நல்லோரைக் காப்பதில் கங்கணம் பூண்டுள்ளவரும், திசையாவும் பரவி நிற்கும் நற்புகழ்கொண்ட உலக குரு என்னைக் காக்கட்டும்.
- பஞ்சாபகேசன் எனப் பெயருள்ள கவிஞனால் ஜகத்குருவைப் பற்றி இயற்றப்பட்ட இந்த ச்லோக பஞ்சகம் (ஐந்து செய்யுட்களைக் கொண்ட பாமாலை), இதனைப் பாடியவர்கட்கு, விரும்பும் பயன் அனைத்தையும், வலுவில் (தடைகளை நீக்கித் தானே) கொடுத்தருளும்.

- It is indeed a wonder – that the Jagadguru Kalpavrksha triumphs (shines forth) , moving from place to place fulfilling all desires (unlike the celestial kalpavrksha which stays in one place giving all that those who come to it) imparting the dharma that is said in the Veda to offer happiness to everyone in this world, and teaches the tattvajnana that is sweeter than a banana.
- He causes happiness to everyone who sees Him and is the result of the merits accrued by people in their past lives. He is the fortune of those vidvans who worry that the dharmas mentioned in the shastras are deteriorating. He removes the troubles of the vidvans who make efforts towards learning and preserving shastras. I worship that Jagadguru who is sought as refuge by all those who attempt to remove the troubles of samsara, the jagadguru who can save this world and is equivalent to Paramashiva.
- He is and is easily attainable by devotees of flawless conduct. He is radiant amidst the throng of devotees. He is of intense effort and His body is besmeared with Vibhuti that resembles the whiteness of the jasmine flower. I meditate with a steady mind on that Jagadguru who is immersed in yoga and who has great bhakti towards Subrahmanya.
- He the jewel of the sky (the sun( that removes the internal darkness. He is the jewel that sines in the mind-box of people, he is the jewel that removes the effects of our bad deeds. He is the jewel (the pearl) that is found in the families ie vamsha (also bamboo where pearl is found) of vidvans, He is the jewel born of good vamsha (family), He is the crest jewel of the community of yogis, he is the celestial wish-yielding jewel – the Chintamani (who fulfils the wishes of His devotees) to those who seek refuge in Him. I worship that great jewel acharya of the entire world, who is the jewel who adorns this world, with my mind.
- He by mere glance removes the bonds of samsara and is immersed in the worship of the three-eyed consort of Dakshayani (Parameshvara the consort of Parvati) . He has conquered the senses and creates bliss. His speech is sweeter than the grape. He is always determined in protecting the righteous. May that Guru whose fame has spread across all directions protect me.
- These five verses written by the poet named Panchapagesan on the Jagadguru (the poetic garland of five verses), To those who sing this, it fulfils their purpose and surely grants (removing obstacles) on its own.
